Bending Moment Calculator is a free Android app developed by Faheel Ahmad under the category of Utilities & Tools. This app is designed to calculate the bending moment and shear force at any section of a simply supported beam (without overhangs) subjected to point load, uniformly distributed load, varying load, and applied moments on the span or supports.
The calculator uses equations of static equilibrium to determine the reactions at the supports and then calculates the values of shear force and bending moment at the required section. It also provides the maximum value of bending moment and the point of maximum bending moment based on the bending moment equation for the loading case.
